This mark is used for deformation monitoring, do not alter the ground mark in any way. 12mm dia. Stainless Steel Pin drilled into 25mm iron rod set in concrete plinth, 0.35 x 0.35m x 0.45m high, engraved with compass circle and the words "Mt Stewart 1877". No known buried mark.
